Prime Butcheries & Farm, the agrifood division of NECTAR Resources, has confirmed October 2026 opening dates for retail counters in Gweru and Kwekwe.

The two Midlands sites join existing counters in Hwange and Silobela, taking the retail network to four outlets. Both new sites will be supplied on the same farm-to-counter basis as the existing counters: livestock raised on the group's own farm at Lusulu in Matabeleland North, processed in group facilities, and delivered through the group's own cold chain.

The full retail range will be available from opening — beef, goat, sheep, pork, broiler and traditional African roadrunner chicken, fish and turkey.

Commercial supply arrangements for restaurants, hotels and institutional caterers in the Midlands will open ahead of the retail launch, alongside event packages priced by headcount for picnics, conferences and celebrations.

Commercial supply and event enquiries for the Midlands sites are open now through the farm and retail desk.
